To Lead a Country

What does it take to lead a country? I don’t know. I’ve never done it. I would surmise that it requires some of the basics that we’ve all encountered in life from the time we start kindergarten to the time we join the grown up ranks of adulthood. Some of these basics might be: think before you speak, consider the impact your words may have on others, be sensitive to those around you, recognize that very few people (if any) get up in the morning with the intent of poor performance and praise publicly with enthusiasm, but approach criticism with caution (a.k.a don’t burn your bridges).

What does it take to lead a country? I think this would be a good start.
